The first time I stepped into a gym, I had just come out of therapy for anorexia. My relationship with food and my body was at its lowest. I felt lost, fragile, and completely disconnected from myself. I had no plan, no structure, just a deep desire to feel strong, healthy, and in control again.
I was constantly second guessing myself, training 6-7 days a week. I was doing all the “right” things (or so I thought), but my physique wasn’t changing, and neither was my confidence. I was stuck in a cycle of overthinking everything; training, nutrition and how to make progress. The gym became a space where I wanted to build myself up, but I didn’t yet know how.
I finally invested into getting myself a great coach and committed myself entirely to understanding training and nutrition properly. This changed everything. My physique and mindset completely transformed.
For over a decade, I balanced my career as a school teacher with my passion for bodybuilding and competing. Teaching had always been something I loved, but over time, I felt a growing pull towards something that was going to fulfil me even more.
3 years ago, I had our little girl — and everything changed.
Becoming a mother made me re-evaluate everything. I still loved teaching, but I realised I wanted to do it in a way that truly aligned with my passion…coaching, educating, and guiding others through their own fitness journeys. I knew first hand what it felt like to struggle, to feel stuck, lost, and frustrated with progress. I wanted to help people avoid the same mistakes I had made for years.
So, I took the leap.
Now, my mission is simple: to coach, educate, and empower. To show you that you don’t need to push your body to extremes to build strength, confidence, and a physique you’re proud of. Coaching isn’t just about training and nutrition. For me, it’s about helping people level up in every aspect of their life by building discipline, confidence, and a healthier relationship with food and their bodies.
